4Cell^® XtraCHO Media are formulated to maximize product titers of the Sartorius CHO-DG44 cell lines (from cell line development projects delivered through the end of 2022). It provides robust performance in small- and large-scale production systems such as flasks, Ambr^® 15 | 250 and bioreactors.

Production Media (PM) are a non-selective production media for batch or fed-batch cultures. It is used for the effective cultivation of CHO DG44 cells and helps produce high yields of the active protein.

4Cell^® XtraCHO Production Medium (PM) is a non-selective production medium for batch or for fed-batch culture of for Sartorius CHO-DG44 cell lines.

Needs to be supplemented with L-Glutamine prior to use following the instructions for use, usually at 4 – 6 mM final concentration.
Contains Glucose.
No Hypoxanthine/Thymidine.
No Insulin.
The 4Cell^® XtraCHO Media and Feeds are accompanied by a Drug Master File (DMF) and assistance with regulatory submissions.
