Multivariate Data Analysis, MVDA, is the science of separating the signal from the noise in data with many variables and presenting the results in a simple graphical format. It is the key to unlocking the information residing in complex process datasets.

Our training program offers a comprehensive advanced (Level 3) course in Multivariate Data Analysis utilizing SIMCA® software. The objective of the Level 3 MVDA course is to provide a deeper theoretical understanding of MVDA. Here we address advanced topics, such as tools for cluster analysis, wavelet analysis and other spectral filters, non-linear modelling, control charting of time series data, special cases of batch process modeling, and providing a deep dive into cross-validation and adjustable parameters influencing the outcome of cross-validation.

This Level 3 course is an advanced course and is intended for researchers, scientists and engineers from all sectors of industry and academia, and ideally participants who have already completed the Level 1 and 2 MVDA courses. Each Level requires separate enrolment and purchase.

It should be observed that some of the Level 3 lessons are sequels to the Level 2 material and that relation will be clearly stated in the respective lesson description. The course contains multiple lessons and hands-on exercises. Participants will have access to a repository of practical examples to work through using the software. The course concludes with a Final Test, which can be taken multiple times. A certificate is awarded upon passing the test.

This course provides 3 months access to the Sartorius Learning Center platform to follow the course material and sit the Final Test. A license of the SIMCA® software is needed to follow the course (note: the software and software license are not included with this course).
