Stainless Steel Pressure Filter Holder
Sartorius offers a broad range of application-based solutions that fits laboratory needs as well as analytical testing outside the laboratory. To ensure best results different housings guarantee a burdenless workflow using various chemicals and solutions. Combined with the extraordinary quality of our membranes we make sure to simplify the progress of filtration steps in a convenient, easy-to-use manner that is highly individualized. Aside of that, large scale sustainability issues occurring due to the massive amount of single-use products are being tackled as the filter holders are made to be easily rinsed and autoclaved and, therefore, excellently suited in repetitive analyses.

Choose your Filter Holders
A practical filter holder for many laboratory filtrations. It can be attached to a tripod with the help of a steel rod which can be screwed in. The larger pressure holder comes with three additional legs made of stainless steel. The hose nipple is screwed into the side of the top part, leaving room for a large filling opening. This makes pouring in the sample easier, and the sample can be refilled without removing the tube connection to the pressure source.

The hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters are made of polytetra-fluorethylene (PTFE) only and are therefore permanently hydrophobic. Unlike hydrophilic filter types, they are not wetted by air humidity.

These hydrophilic polycarbonate track-etched filters are manufactured from high quality polycarbonate film using track-etch technology. They have a sharply defined pore size of 0.2 µm with a pore density of 5.0E+08 cm². Pack of 100 white 47 mm discs that have a high chemical resistance and good thermal stability for accurate fractionation of particulates. Smooth, flat surface for good visibility.
Polyamide membrane filters are hydrophilic and chemical resistant to alkaline solutions and organic solvents.
Polyethersulfone membrane filters are hydrophilic- have high flow rates- a low non-specific protein adsorption and are chemically resistant over a pH range of 1 – 14.
The regenerated cellulose membrane filters are made of regenerated cellulose reinforced with a cellulose nonwoven.
