Specifications

The asymmetric polyether sulfone (PES) membranes used in Sartoguard PES filters achieve an LRV of 6 per cm². This significantly reduces the bioburden in the downstream process and protects subsequent purification steps. When used upstream of sterilization grade filters, Sartoguard PES increases overall throughput and reduces the number of filters required and process costs.

Compatibility

Sartoguard PES Gamma filters have been developed for sterilization using gamma irradiation < in 50 kGy irradiation doses. The SartoguardPES polyethersulfone membrane has a high chemical compatibility between pH 1 to 14, making Sartoguard PES Gamma filters ideally suited for the filtration of high and low pH solutions in pharmaceutical | Biotech Industry
