Recombinant human Noggin is a protein used in the maintenance of pluripotent stem cells and differentiation of iPSCs to neural lineages. It controls BMP signaling and in doing so, it plays an important role in embryonic patterning and development through the maintenance of undifferentiated embryonic stem cells. It is also used in a large variety of organoid culture systems including liver, pancreatic, lung and intestinal organoids.
