The Octet® Anti-Human Fc Capture (AHC) Biosensors are designed for kinetic characterization of macromolecular interactions between human Fc-containing proteins and target analytes. Immobilization of human Fc-containing proteins onto the biosensor surface is completed through factory immobilized anti-human Fc-specific antibodies whose high-affinity for the human Fc domain provides a stable baseline required for demanding kinetics applications.
Streamlined Workflow for High-Throughput Screening
The Octet® AHC Biosensors allow to streamline high-throughput screening by enabling immobilization of human Fc-containing proteins directly from crude or purified matrices, without the need for labor intensive purification or biotinylation steps.
Flexible Applications
The Octet® AHC Biosensors provide a flexible platform for profiling kinetics between human Fc-containing proteins and target analytes. During antibody development, AHC Biosensors enable rapid epitope mapping and binning studies of captured human Fc-containing proteins, such as hIgGs. For example, using the Octet RH16 instrument 352 hIgG samples can be screened against a single analyte in as little as one hour.
Cost-Effective Regeneration
The Octet® AHC Biosensors can be regenerated up to 10 times via a standard low-pH protocol in as little as 2 minutes, thus providing a cost-effective solution for analyzing a large number of samples or generating replicate data for ligand-analyte pairs.
