CIMmultus® Monoliths are reusable chromatography devices for scalable high-resolution purification of complex biological samples. Inside the custom designed housing is a single piece stationary phase with homogeneous channel size and surface chemistry. This stationary phase is designed to simplify method transfer from development into production.

CIMmultus® columns can be used as single-use disposable or multi-use columns. They are available in a variety of volume ranges – from 1mL for screening and method development purposes up to 40L for industrial manufacturing.

CIMmultus® QA is a high-performance ion exchange column primarily intended for fast and efficient purification of biomolecules such as viruses, adeno-associated viruses (AAV), and virus-like particles (VLP) through their ionic interaction with the monolith.

QA (quaternary amine) features:

  • Strong anion exchanger
  • Working range, pH 2–13
  • Binds molecules with a predominantly negative charge, repels molecules with a predominantly positive charge
  • Use for capture, intermediate, or polishing steps in either bind-elute or flow-through mode
  • High capacity for virus particles (AAV), IgM, exosomes
  • High efficiency removal of endotoxin and DNA removal
  • Outstanding for preparative applications or analytical fingerprinting of process samples
  • Sanitizable with 1 M NaOH
