Vivaflow® TFF Cassette, PES

Vivaflow^® multi-use laboratory crossflow cassettes are versatile, economical options for concentration and diafiltration in various applications. The cassettes are ready to use out of the box, and may be re-used to process several samples. They are simple and efficient, utilizing a unique flip-flow channel design that ensures optimal flux with no optimization effort. These cassettes are easy to use, reliable, and the best choice given their unrivaled flexibility compared to any laboratory ultrafiltration system in the market.

Cassette Equipment

Each Vivaflow^® package conveniently includes tubing, pressure indicator, flow restrictor and tubing. All you need is a peristaltic pump with a pump head capable of handling 6.4 mm OD (size 16) tubing.

Rapid Sample Processing

Vivaflow^® cassettes offer unmatched speed and efficiency. A single 200 cm² device typically concentrates 1L by a factor of 50 in less than 30 min. Alternatively, two Vivaflow^® 200 cassettes can be used in parallel for the concentration of 5L in under 75 minutes. Near-total recovery of the concentrate is achieved with a single buffer rinse.

Parallel Operation

For even faster process speeds, two Vivaflow^® 200 cassettes can be operated simultaneously. Easily connect two cassettes using a Y connector, pre-assembled with the correct tubing sizes and fittings. This modular operation enables samples up to 5L to be concentrated.

Cassettes Can be Used in Multiple Applications

Vivaflow^® 200 is optimally suited for applications like cell culture supernatant concentration, virus concentration and water concentration (e.g. in fish breeding facilities). In biopharmaceutical research, the cassettes can be used for recombinant protein (e.g. mAb) concentration and diafiltration. They can also be used for nanoparticle research processes, including concentration, diafiltration or low molecular weight contaminant removal.
