Hillex II microcarriers feature modified polystyrene cores with a cationic amine surface modification that promotes rapid cell attachment. Their non-protein-coated surface makes them suitable for protein-free and chemically defined cell culture applications. With a narrow size distribution and a slightly denser core, Hillex II microcarriers promote faster sedimentation and efficient cell harvesting.

Sartorius SoloHill® Microcarriers
SoloHill® Microcarriers provide a cost-effective solution for scaling up adherent cell-based biopharmaceutical processes, from viral vaccines and vectors to stem cell cultures. They provide a large surface area for high-cell-density cultures in both small-scale and large-scale stirred-tank bioreactor (STR) systems.
