BioPAT® Multi Trace Tube Set | EtOH/ MeOH

The BioPAT^® Trace and BioPAT^® Multi Trace Tube Sets are required to transport the sample from the vessel to the biosensor and to perform the analysis. Each run needs a complete fluidic setup consisting of 1–2 mm inner diameter tubing, peristaltic pump heads and ergonomically labeled connections. Each sampling method – dialysis or filtration – requires the corresponding tube set to function correctly.

The Tube Sets include all components necessary for analysis, such as pump cassettes, valve tubing, measuring chamber, diffusion module, drip counters and connection lines for buffers, standards and waste, as well as a dialysis sampling probe. The dialysis tube sets are also supplied with a single-use syringe and three-way stopcock for the analysis of external samples. Calibration solution and transport buffer are connected to the labeled endpoints of the tube set and are automatically pumped within the system loop.

The BioPAT^® Trace | Multi Trace biosensors use platinum thick-film electrodes durably coated with application-specific enzymes (e.g. glucose oxidase (GOD) or lactate oxidase (LOD)). Using calibration data, the electrochemical signal of the biosensor is internally converted into concentration values. BioPAT^® Trace offers different sampling probe options, such as dialysis and by-pass loop. All probe designs ensure aseptic removal from the vessel and reliable sample transport to the biosensor module.
