The cells should be no smaller than 7 microns in diameter. The g-force of the system is not high enough to formstable fluidized bed with smaller cells, such as bacteria and other microbial cells.
Cell densities as low as 500,000 cells per milliliter can be processed, and up to densities as high as 160 million cells per milliliter.
Processing time will vary based on the size of your bioreactor, but because the Ksep® centrifuge is continuously running, the process of concentration, wash, and harvest is extremely efficient
