Questions & Answers (6)
Nutri-T does not require the addition of human serum or platelet lysate. However, to support the expansion of immune cells supplementation with appropriate cytokines will be required.
Nutri-T is stored at 2–8˚C. Before use the medium can be aliquoted to appropriate work volumes and warmed to room temperature (15–30°C).
No, Nutri-T is a xeno-free media. It contains only human-derived or recombinant proteins.
A serum-free medium eliminates the influence of unknown ingredients, supports clinical applications, greatly reduces adventitious health risks, and decreases lo-to-lot variability.
Working with serum-free media under high-speed agitation might lead to protein aggregation. To overcome it, it's recommended to optimize the culture conditions or introduce a surfactant to the culture
If sterile work and culturing environments are kept it is not advisable to add antibiotics, as they may impact the culture.
