Choose your Sartobind® Rapid A
Sartobind® Rapid A Cassettes integrate Sartorius agarose-based membrane functionalized with Protein A ligand in a stackable module. Using the Pilot Filter Holder, up to 13 cassettes can be connected, for a bed volume of up to 10.4 L. Despite the different formats, their performance is directly scalable to the capsule formats. Sartobind® Rapid A is engineered for time and cost-efficient mAb purification, offering competitive binding capacity (typically between 40-50 g/L1) and low pressure drop. With a simple and quick set-up and working residence times as low as 10 seconds, the overall processing time and costs can be significantly decreased. Sartobind® Rapid A Cassettes are well-suited for earlier clinical-phase and low-demand commercial manufacturing.
Features and Benefits:
- Bed volume: 0.8 L/cassette
- Bed-height: 4 mm
- Max. operating pressure: 2 bar
- Directly scalability to capsule formats
- Typical flow rates: 5 – 10 MV/min2
Applications:
- mAb purification
- Clinical stage and lower demand commercial manufacturing
Operational Requirements:
- Cassette Holder: Hydraulic clamping system for assembly and connection of the Sartobind® Rapid A cassettes.
- Manifold Set: Includes the inlet and outlet plates for the Sartobind® Rapid A cassettes operation as well as the venting and draining tubing.
