The purpose of the Technology License Research Package is to evaluate the expression of your target molecule(s) using our CHO cell line development technology in-house for both feasibility and | or manufacturability assessment.

Our Technology License Research Package includes:

  • Materials: 4Cell® SmartCHO media and feeds, host cell line, and plasmid vials.
  • Standard protocols and methods from DNA2RCB: gene synthesis, vector cloning, transfection, pool generation and evaluation, clone generation, clone evaluation in Ambr®15, 5 L bioreactor performance assessment, and RCB preparation.
  • Add-on protocols and methods (upon request): material production in shake flasks, fed-batch processes in Ambr®250, 50 L rocking motion bioreactor, and stability study design.
  • Documentation (personalized host cell line history report and TSE | BSE statement for plasmid).
  • Proof of concept study, including troubleshooting.
  • Technical support (remote and on-site upon request).

Please note that the establishment of our CHO cell line development technology at your site is highly flexible. Beyond basic cell culture devices like a flow box, incubator, and shaker, no specific equipment is mandatory for using our CHO cell line development technology. However, certain equipment, such as an electroporator, cell counter, and Octet®, is highly recommended for efficient and successful operation. Workflows and protocols can be adapted to your needs and possibilities.
