The Virus Counter® Plus utilizes two distinct types of reagents. The first, Virotag® DY reagent, offers a universal staining solution for enveloped viruses. This reagent includes a general nucleic acid stain and a general protein dye, ensuring compatibility with all enveloped viruses. The second product line is antibody-based, designed for customers requiring a high level of specificity. Currently, we offer five Virotag® reagents capable of enumerating Baculovirus, Influenza A and B, Lentiviruses, and all enveloped viruses.
