CIMac™ HDZ 0.1 mL Analytical Column (1.3 µm)
Hydrazide activated monolithic columns are used to immobilise glycoproteins through oxidised sugar groups and other carbonyl containing molecules.
Antibodies, in particular immunoglobulins G (IgG) containing abundant glycosylation, can be covalently bound to the matrix leaving unobstructed antigen binding sites.

CIMac™ Analytical Columns are short-bed high-performance monolithic columns offering all the advantages of CIM® monolithic technology. Their small volume and short column length allow the operation at high volumetric flow rates, enabling them to receive the information about the product quantity and purity in just a few minutes. Hence, the CIMac™ Analytical Columns can be effectively used for the in-process and final control of various samples from different purification process steps
.The CIMac HDZ–0.1 Analytical Columns are used to immobilise glycoproteins through oxidised sugar groups and other carbonyl containing molecules. Antibodies, in particular immunoglobulins G (IgG) containing abundant glycosylation, can be covalently bound to the matrix leaving unobstructed antigen binding sites. The resulting affinity columns provide high purification efficiency and no leaching of the immobilised ligand.
HDZ (hydrazide activated) features:
- For easy preparation of efficient immunoaffinity columns.
- Forms a covalent hydrazide linkage with carbohydrates.
- Especially suited for site-directed immobilization of antibodies and other glycoproteins.
