Sartobind® Rapid A capsules integrate Sartorius agarose-based membrane functionalized with Protein A ligand in a fully closed format. The available bed volumes range from 1.2 mL to 200 mL, and the performance is directly scalable between consumable sizes. Sartobind® Rapid A is engineered for time and cost-efficient mAb purification, offering competitive binding capacity (typically between 40-50 g/L1) and low pressure drop. The capsules are ready for use, and with working residence times as low as 10 seconds, the set-up and processing time can be significantly decreased. The capsule portfolio is well-suited for process development and earlier clinical-phase manufacturing.
