CIMac™ Analytical Columns are short-bed high-performance monolithic columns offering all the advantages of CIM® monolithic technology. Their small volume and short column length allow the operation at high volumetric flow rates, enabling them to receive the information about the product quantity and purity in just a few minutes. Hence, the CIMac™ Analytical Columns can be effectively used for the in-process and final control of various samples from different purification process steps.

CIMac™ Oligo dT (is an affinity column, with dT oligonucleotides grafted to the monolith surface, binding to the polyadenylated tail (polyA) of mRNA.

Under high salt conditions, mRNA with a polyA tail binds to the column, while all other interfering species (nucleotides, capping reagents, DNA template, enzymes) do not bind to the column and are immediately eluted.

Oligo dT (deoxythymine) features:

  • Hybridises to the poly-adenylated tail which is present on most eukaryotic RNAs, or synthetised onto the molecule during IVT
  • Primarily intended for fast and efficient capture and purification of mRNA with a poly-adenylated tail, from various sources
  • Can selectively remove impurities from the sample and is a convenient approach for initial purification of mRNA
