CIMac™ r-Protein Analytical Columns are primarily intended for fast, efficient, and reproducible analysis of immunoglobulin G (IgG) from various samples. They can be effectively used for in-process and final control (quantitative and qualitative) of IgG purified from cell culture supernatant or human plasma. The innovative stainless steel housing allows flow in both directions, increasing its durability and ease of use.
rProtein G (recombinant protein G from E. coli) features:
- Used for purification of mouse and human immunoglobulin G (IgG)
- Binds Fc portion of antibody (IgG class). Does not bind light chain
- Binds human IgG3 subtype, which is not recognized by protein A
