Ambr® 250 High Throughput single-use bioreactors were designed to provide a high precision environment that supports the demands of a range of applications. Bioreactor vessels are fully assembled and irradiated, including dual 20mm pitch-blade impellers for a range of mammalian applications or dual Rushton type impellers for microbial cultures. For mammalian cultures, an unbaffled vessel variant is offered with single ‘elephant-ear’ pitched blade impeller

All bioreactor vessels include the system`s liquid and gas feed lines, DO spot sensor and pH disposable probe. There are sparge and overlay gassing options available. Vessel variants including liquid filters are optionally available as well as an external condensing bottle and larger microbial impeller. The single-use technology means there is no need to clean bioreactors and sensors between runs.

Ambr® 250 High Throughput single-use perfusion bioreactors include all components required for perfusion culture, vessels are fully assembled and irradiated.Perfusion vessels include pressure sensors, pump chambers, with tubing calibrated for either Alternating Tangential Flow (ATF) (filter less) or Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) mode. ATF and TFF vessels are available with a choice of perfusion filter pore size, or without perfusion filter.

Ambr® 250 High Throughput perfusion assembly units can be disconnected from the standard mammalian vessel and be replaced with a spare assembly unit during an experimental run. The exchangeable Perfusion assembly unit includes 3 liquid connections – flow and return of cell culture and permeate so it can be disconnected from the vessel.
