BioPAT® Flow Clamp-on 3/8 pipe-S
The BioPAT® Flow Clamp-on for flow pipes size 3/8" is an ultrasonic flow clamp-on which is used within flow measurement and is part of the BioPAT® Flow family. This BioPAT ® Flow sensor offers a standard calibration table, supplied with every clamp-on, that ensure the highest accuracy in the common working temperature range 17 – 27 °C. Additional customer specific calibration tables can be ordered via article number BPL0056. One sensor can store up to 7 calibration tables. The clamp-on is supplied together with a cable (30 cm) and is only to be used for Chromatography Systems.

Choose your BioPAT® Flow
The BioPAT® Flow Clamp-on has four ultrasonic transducers that are arranged crosswise and conduct the flow measurement. The in-line flowmeters of the BioPAT ® Flow family provide the right fit for all scales of your bioprocess. They were the world’s first ultrasonic-flowmeter clamp-ons that are used with single-use flow pipes, resulting in flexibility and higher accuracy than conventional clamp-ons that measure directly on the tube. Conventional clamp-on flowmeters require an extra calibration for every tube material and thickness used. The clamp-on transmitter is simply fixed around the pipe and the measurement can take place. Inside the flow clamp-on two pairs of sensors function both as a source and a detector for ultrasound waves. The sensor pairs are oriented diagonally in the corners of the clamp-on.
