Methyl Ceramic HyperD® F is designed for efficient and scalable capture of biomolecules
The sorbent:
- Has a unique 'gel-in-a-shell' design that provides rapid mass transfer and effective binding
- Employs a soft, high-capacity hydrophobic (-CH3) functionalized hydrogel which is polymerized within the large pores of a high dimensional rigid ceramic bead
- Can be used for very hydrophobic target molecules or impurities
- Does not shrink or swell with changes in pH or conductivity
- Shows superior dynamic capacity for proteins over a full range of linear velocities
