Cellulose Triacetate (CTA)

High hydrophilicity and very low non-specific adsorption characterize this membrane material. Cast without any membrane support that could trap or bind passing microsolutes, these membranes are preferred for sample cleaning, protein removal, and in other applications where high recoveries from the ultrafiltrate are of primary importance.
