Biobrain® Automation Platform

Biobrain^® is Sartorius automation platform designed to support a range of bioprocessing applications and workflows. It provides native connectivity to Biobrain^® Supervise and can also integrate with third-party systems, including data historians, SCADA, and DCS platforms, enabling data acquisition and higher-level process integration.

The platform supports both conventional batch operations and advanced process strategies. Its functionality includes recipe-based process control, operator guidance for setup and execution activities, and support for integrated process monitoring and control capabilities.

Recipes can be developed through Sartorius services or created using the Biobrain^® Recipe Editor software. Organizations can expand their capabilities over time by upgrading to Biobrain^® Supervise, adding enhanced data management, cross-process analysis, visualization, and remote notification features.

Biobrain^® is developed with a long-term lifecycle approach, enabling continuous enhancement of functionality, connectivity, and security. This supports evolving customer requirements and facilitates the adoption of future digital biomanufacturing and BioPharma 4.0 initiatives.
