The CellCelector Flex platform is an automated system that enables users to identify, select, and isolate cells and cellular structures on a single platform. Due to its highly configurable nature, the CellCelector platform can support a variety of cell isolation needs, including single cells, clusters, spheroids, and organoids, as well as single-cell clones and adherent colonies.
Automated
The CellCelector Flex system offers fully automated workflows for cell isolation, drastically increasing throughput and reproducibility while reducing laborious manual procedures. During each step of the workflow, data is automatically recorded to ensure proper documentation.
Flexible
The CellCelector platform is highly configurable to support a wide range of applications. Users can choose from various objectives, excitation sources, source and destination vessel adapters, and robotic arms for extended application support.
Gentle
The isolation of cells and cellular structures is performed using a non-invasive mechanical aspiration process. The isolation and deposition parameters can be easily adjusted to ensure the successful retrieval of various biological structures while preserving cell viability and structural morphology.

CellCelector glass capillaries are designed for the isolation of single cells, clusters, spheroids, organoids and small parts of colonies. Small diameter capillaries allow the targeted picking of individual cells without any cross-contamination by adjacent cells. Larger diameter capillaries enable the picking of clusters or spheroids without creating damaging sheer forces, keeping the picked cluster intact.
CellCelector Flex 6 well Nanowell plates are available in either a 360k hexagonally shaped (nanowell size and depth: 100 μm and 100 μm) or 1000k UFO shaped (nanowell size and depth: 40 μm and 40 μm) nanowells per plate format, with a non-treated plasma surface on both formats. The recommended glass capillary diameter for the 360k and 1000k formats are 50 µm and 30 µm, respectively.
They are perfectly suited for the screening of antibody/protein producing cells through secretion assays, the co-location of different cell types in the same nanowells for functional studies or receptor/reporter cell assays, the isolation and analysis of rare single cells such as circulating tumor cells and fetal cells, and hybridoma single cell cloning and screening.

CellCelector Flex 4 nl Nanowell Plates for single cell cloning are ideal for high-throughput single cell cloning and screening assays, single cell cloning after gene editing, the isolation of defined cell numbers for reference samples, and spheroid formation, imaging and screening assays. Nanowell plates contain 3,000 nanowells per well and 72,000 nanowells per plate, with a size and depth of 200 µm and 100 µm, respectively. The recommended glass capillary diameter for both formats is 80 µm.
Sievewell chips consist of a thin membrane of nanowells, containing either 370k (Nanowell size, depth and volume: 20 µm, 25 µm and 8.6 pl, respectively) or 90k (Nanowell size, depth and volume: 50 µm, 50 µm and 108 pl, respectively) hexagonally shaped Nanowells, with a non-treated plasma surface. Within each nanowell there are 2 pores with a diameter of 2 μm to allow for fluid exchange.
The hexagonal shape of the wells is ideal for automated cell detection and cell counting, and due to its unique sieve structure, are an ideal solution for on-chip staining of rare single cells without any cell loss, and single cell capture from cell suspensions.
The outer dimensions of each Sievewell chip corresponds to those of a standard microscope slide, and the recommended glass capillary diameter for both slides is 20 µm.
