Tubing Kits for Vivaflow® Tangential Flow Filtration Cassettes

Each pack of Vivaflow^® TFF cassettes contains the tubing kit that is needed to perform ultrafiltration right out of the box. For an efficient alternative to dialysis and gel filtration, any Vivaflow^® cassette can also be used for buffer exchange.

Replacing Your Ultrafiltration Tubing Kit

After the first use of Vivaflow^® 50R | 200, the single-use tubing kit provided with your cassette should be replaced. This ensures consistent performance while preventing carryover. Kit VF-ATI0011-1 includes everything needed to run individual cassettes in ultrafiltration mode.

Increasing Ultrafiltration Speed or Throughput

Vivaflow^® 50R | 200 are modular, enabling two cassettes to be run in parallel. This is recommended when processing larger feed volumes or when increased processing speed is required for smaller samples. Kits VF-ATP0011-1 and VF-ATP0012-2 include everything needed to run 2x 50 cm² or 2x 200 cm² cassettes, respectively, in ultrafiltration mode.

Efficient Buffer Exchange and Purification

Kit VF-ATD0001-1, in combination with the Vivaflow^® feed reservoir, enables continuous diafiltration that is easy to set up, offers significant time savings, reduces reagent and water consumption, and avoids sample dilution. This is an add-on that works together with the tubing kit provided with your cassette, or any of the replacement tubing kits.

This kit is also compatible with Sartobind^® Lab chromatography units, for rapid, plug-and-play purification by persistaltic pump.
