The Claristep® Syringeless Filter is the ideal solution for sample preparation by particle removal prior to analytics. The filters are suitable for small sample volumes of 60 to 600 µl. Filtration is achieved without the use of a syringe.

Simple and Straightforward

Claristep® Syringeless Filters are designed with ease and simplicity in mind. They are the ideal option for preparing analytical samples with small volumes. These filters are manufactured at our plant and must meet the strictest quality standards. Using these filters is simple and straightforward, as they are purely mechanical and allow for ergonomic handling without the need for a syringe, vacuum pump or power source.

Pure Materials

Claristep® Syringeless Filters are made of pure materials. The filter components are virtually free of extractables. The filters are composed of chemically stable components allowing filtration of aqueous liquids and harsh solvents. The reservoir and lid consist of one piece of polypropylene. In addition, the lid part has a sealing made of thermoplastic elastomer, which enables a light lid closure.

Reliable Removal

When used with Claristep® systems, the Claristep® Syringeless Filters ensure the reliable removal of particles. They allow for the filtration of samples without adding extractables and leachables. The filter units are optimized for solvents and aqueous solutions. They provide maximum chemical compatibility and exceptionally low non-specific binding of analytes.

Optimize Filtration

For optimum handling and filtration with Claristep® Syringeless Filters, we recommend using the Claristep® Multiplex-Station, including the replaceable Claristep® Tray, available for purchase from Sartorius. The station and filters allow for unparalleled ergonomic handling for mechanical filtration without using a syringe. Using these Claristep® products in concert will ensure contamination-free results. The contact time of the samples with the filters and the caps is extremely short. With the Claristep® Station and Filters, you can filter eight samples simultaneously without needing a power supply, vacuum, or pressure source.
