The Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well Plate is a specially designed 96-well microtiter plate that contains fiducial marks that allow for precise image registration of the same field of view, even when the plates are manually removed and replaced within the Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis System. However, these markings are subtle enough to not interfere with images acquired at the cell plane. This enables accurate image analysis that is required for scratch wound cell migration and invasion assays when used with the Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis System and software. Additionally, the ability to reliably image the same field of view is useful for generating multi-day, long-term live-cell movies. The Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well Plate is compatible with all Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis Systems.
Essential for Scratch Wound Migration and Invasion Assays
The Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well Plate is essential for performing Incucyte® Scratch Wound Cell Migration and Invasion Assays with ease and confidence. Together with other Incucyte® products, label-free, quantitative measurements of cell migration and invasion can be made while visualizing morphological changes due to treatment effects. The Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well Plates are compatible for use with the Incucyte® 96-well Woundmaker Tool, which is a 96-pin mechanical device that creates precise, homogenous scratch wounds in all wells of the Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well Plate at the press of a button. Images are automatically acquired from the same field of view, and the Incucyte® Scratch Wound Analysis Software Module provides real-time quantification of cell migration or invasion through a 3D biomatrix gel. The Incucyte® Imagelock Plate, in conjunction with the Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis System and software, allow for precise, clear visualization of the initial would and the incremental wound closure at each time point.
Each Incucyte® Imagelock 96-well plate is individually packaged, sterile, and tissue-culture (TC) treated.
