BioPAT® FlowProduct FamilyBioPAT® Flow - Accurate and Flexible Flow Measurement from Process Development to Commercial Production
Non-invasive, ultrasonic flow measurement
World’s most accurate single-use ultrasonic flow clamp-on
Available for tube diameters ranging from ¼“ to 1“ ID.
Independent of fluid viscosity and system pressure
Temperature compensation from 4 – 37 °C
The integration of the flow sensor is fast and easy. The flow pipes can be integrated into any single-use tube assembly without introducing bends or changing the inner diameter. The clamp-on transmitter is then simply fixed around the pipe and the measurement can take place.

BioPAT® ViamassProduct Family
Automated Biomass Measurement Using BioPAT® Viamass
BioPAT® Viamasss is a system for measuring viable biomass in cell culture processes. Unlike known reference methods, this system is completely integrated into single-use bioreactors. It determines the biomass directly in line and reducing the need for manual sampling. Integrated into the bioreactor’s DCU and Biobrain® control system, BioPAT® Viamass permits automatic monitoring and control of viable biomass.
Reduces the need for manual sampling
Real-time measurement of and feedback on viable biomass
Ensures batch-to-batch consistency
Eliminates operator influence that occurs in manual biomass measurements -
Biobrain® SuperviseProduct FamilyBiobrain ® Supervise enables a new standard in bioprocess data management and automation. Its capabilities for data acquisition, process trend monitoring, and recipe management and control make it an ideal tool for all up and down stream processes, no matter if you prefer single-use or reusable systems. Whether you want a non-qualified system for your PD facility or a qualified system that can meet your 21 CFR part 11 or Annex 11 needs we have deployment option sized for you.

BioPAT® Low FlowProduct FamilyThe BioPAT® Low Flow sensor is an ultrasonic Clamp-on sensor with integrated converter for high precision and robust non-invasive flow measurement. The sensor is specifically designed to measure with high precision within its entire specified flow range (3% - 30% Qmax). Inside the flow clamp-on three pairs of piezoelectric sensors function both as a source and a detector for ultrasound waves. The BioPAT® Low Flow ultrasonic sensors are the world’s only flow meter clamp-ons that use a single-use flow pipe instead of measuring directly on the tube. This innovation comes with several advantages.

BioPAT® TraceProduct FamilyOnline Measurement of Multiple Parameters From 1 to 4 Vessels. The control of nutrients and metabolites starts by monitoring the parameter concentration and its rate of change. Once known, then an actuator (e.g. feed pump) can affect a change and bring the parameter to the desired set-point. BioPAT® Trace and BioPAT® Multi Trace enables this control to be automated without the need for operator intervention during the bioprocess. Real-time online monitoring of bioprocesses parameters.
