Sartoclean CA and GF Prefilters

Sartoclean® CA and Sartoclean® GF prefilters prepare biopharmaceutical liquids for critical steps by combining clarification and bioburden reduction. Low adsorption and high loading capacity support consistent flow, high recovery, and efficient processing from PD to production.

  • Double-Layer Cellulose Acetate (CA): Two cellulose acetate layers increase particle loading capacity and throughput, reducing changeouts and helping maintain stable flow in protein-rich solutions.
  • Glass Fiber Adsorptive Design (GF): two cellulose acetate membranes combined with glass fiber fleece captures colloids and lipids, improving clarification and supporting lower turbidity.
  • High Throughput Performance: Optimized constructions manage particulate and colloid loads effectively, which helps shorten filtration cycles and improve line utilization.
